A general assembly was held Thursday, January 14, 2010.
Led by Christophe Baudet, Laboratory Director, the following points were discussed:
Presentation of new entrants:
- Julian Chauchat, Assistant Professor - Houle team;
- Cyril Picard, Assistant Professor - MIP team;
- Patricia Argentino, head of administrative department.
The Visiting Committee (Aeres) is evaluating the LEGI Thursday 11 and Friday, February 12, 2010. It will be chaired by Philippe Petitjean.
Patricia Argentino introduced some changes in the administrative service organization. These changes are intended to improve the quality of services rendered to members of the LEGI.
Joel Sommeria presented real estate projects in the LEGI who seem to take a major boost. Sylvie Tarze (Department Head Heritage Grenoble-INP) provided the support and insights from Grenoble-INP in these projects.
- Buildings GH: Compliance and minor renovations.
- Building K: The long-awaited new building, which finally seems on track.
- Coriolis II: The proposed relocation of the Coriolis platform on the campus site.
Jean-Paul Thibault introduced his role in charge of relations with industry. Thus, it can help researchers and management in their efforts to recovery with them.
The assembly ended with a nice buffet, with the traditional Galette des Rois!
