Titre/Title : Computer-Aided Tool for Investigation CFD at land, on sea and in air
Contact : Achim Wirth (Direction LEGI)
Résumé/Abstract : The Withstanding of the accidental strong wind-strokes over the buildings (as well as traffic objects) and understanding their unwanted load onto construction, involves a very sophisticated, both scientific and technical CFD-(Computer Fluid Dynamics)-oriented research of these phenomena. Fine computer-aided research is also involved in both wind- and water-streams that are offering predictable resource of renewable energy to be extracted by the turbines and transferred into electricity. In this presentation the progress in the research on such large-scale domains will be presented and discussed.
