I have been a CNRS Researcher at the Coriolis platform of LEGI in 2008-2012. Since sept 2012 I am working at LMFA, Ecole Centrale de Lyon, and mainly interested in laboraty experiments on stratified mixing.

I also work on in situ measurements that I perform with Hans van Haren from the Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research and that concern caracterization of internal waves spectra in the open ocean by means of long time mooring deployments (Canary and Brazilian Basins).

I defended my PhD on 24th nov 2006 at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon, France, under the direction of Thierry Dauxois The topic of my PhD was : Experimental study of internal gravity waves in the presence of topography. Emission, propagation, reflection

Research interests

Physical oceanography, internal waves, stratified fluids, flow visualisation, granular materials, nonlinear optics, morphogenesis.
