In the context of the WATU project funded by ERC, we propose a PhD thesis topic on the experimental study of elastic or capillary waves. The WATU project is an ambitious project dedicated to the the experimental study of several systems (surface gravity and/or capillary waves, internal gravity waves, elastic waves in a thin plate) that can develop a regime of wave turbulence.
