Geophysical and Industrial Fluid Dynamics

| Key elements
and processes that govern large-scale dynamics in Geophysical flows are
vortices, waves and fronts
and their interaction, while mixing and convection play an important
role for energy distribution. Knowledge of
their dynamics is also of interest to industrial and environmental
applications. Laboratory experiments, numerical
simulations, and basic modeling help us in better understanding their
origin and evolution in time. |
